For Kindred Spirits and Bosom Friends of That Anne-Girl (that's Anne with an E). From Green Gables to Ingleside, she remained fanciful and endearing.
And when I'm feeling down and dreary, Anne Shirley is most often the fictional friend I seek out. Beyond Laura Ingalls, beyond Jo March, and beyond even Elizabeth Bennet and Emma Woodhouse- and is my favorite book-ish smart girl of times passed. So, why not make a section just for keeping track of all my Anne-related musings?
